It is not length of life, but depth of life. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"It is not length of life, but depth of life. - Ralph Waldo Emerson"

I think that this quote says alot in just a few words. Living your life is one of the most important things to do, in my opinion.

When i say living your life, I don't mean just surviving day by day.. I mean going through each day like its your last and filling everyone moment of every second of it with something that is worth remembering.

If you go through your life just sliding by, when you get older you wont have things to look back at and remember. You won't be able to look back and feel proud and accomplished of the things that you did.

There could be someone that dies at the age of 20 and lived a better life than someone who died at the age of 90. The bigger the number of your age doesn't mean the greater your life has been.

Each and every single moment of your life time should be something that you can look back on, and remember doing it and the great times and happiness it brought to your life.

I'm not saying every moment of your life time is going to make you completely happy. With that being said however, I do believe that you should do everything in your power to try and make an effort to make the best out of everything that is put in your life.

As far as I'm concerned, you should be able to die satisfied with your life at any age, because if you live your life with purpose, then you should be looking back and being proud of what has gone on in your past.

No matter what bad is put in your life, you should grasp the good in what it as brought and cherish it.
